October is all about having lots of fall fun together.
Mark your calendars for our best events of the year.
Shark Bites kicks off October 3rd at Dave and Buster's. Participating restaurants donate a percentage of sales generated by Stadium families back to our school. Help us gain a generous donation from Dave and Buster's this month.
Paint a Pumpkin is a fun event for kids after school on Tuesday, October 18th from 3-5 pm. The children will decorate their pumpkins and put them on display throughout the school. Teachers will conduct an anonymous vote for their favorite decorated pumpkin. The winning pumpkin will receive a family four pack of tickets to the Roger Williams Park JackOLantern Spectacular.
BCI approved Volunteers are needed to help supervise this after school event.
$5 to participate. Dress appropriately for painting.

The Home-School Connection
What is It?
The Cranston Family Center is very excited to offer the Home-School Connection Program to kindergarten families. This program extends what your child learns in school to home through home visits, workshops, or letters by an Early Learning Coach.
When Is It Offered?
The Home-School Connection is offered year round.
Why is this program important to your family?
This program is designed to continue the days learning into activities you can do with your child at home. The Early Learning Coach will work in the classroom and get to know your child and what they are learning, and the techniques the teacher uses to teach them. The Early Learning Coach will then be able to set up home visits so you and your child can do some fun activities at home to help your child succeed at school.
